Everything you need to know about OAuth integrations and permissions requested by Blox Team.

Why does Blox Team need these permissions?

When linking your Roblox integration, Blox Team asks for specific permissions:

  • Group Read: Used to display your group roles, staff rosters, and member profile pictures within your dashboard.
  • Group Write / Manage: Required if you use automated promotions (e.g. promoting a user after passing an application or completing shift quotas).
  • OpenID & Profile: Used strictly to verify your Roblox user identity and avatar.

Blox Team will never modify group settings, withdraw group funds, or alter permissions without your explicit action.

Discord Integration

Linking your Discord server allows Blox Team to sync group ranks with Discord roles automatically. When an admin promotes a staff member in Roblox, Blox Team immediately grants them the corresponding role in Discord.
